Since 1998, Vanessa Remmington has worked closely with SABC Education, strategically marketing various programme brands. From 2000, School TV has been focused on, growing the brand to 40% usage in primary schools around the country, of which there are 18,600, and building an 87% brand awareness. The projects is multimedia – TV programmes, website, print resources and training for educators, radio, support telephone lines for educators, learners and parents and promotional initiatives. This project has also involved two presentations to parliament’s Committee on Education.
